Adviescommissie presenteert jaarverslag 2024 De adviescommissie van het Nationaal Groeifonds heeft het jaarverslag 2024 gepresenteerd. Hierin staan de activiteiten van de adviescommissie en de voortgang van de 50 projecten in 2024 beschreven. 2024 was een jaar waarin belangrijke mijlpalen zijn bereikt. Enkele voorbeelden zijn: • de start van de 1e preklinsche studies naar gepersonaliseerde kankertherapieën door Oncode Accelerator; • de oplevering van een demonstratiefabriek voor schone waterstofproductie door GroenvermogenNL; en • de ontwikkeling van innovatieve leeromgevingen door 28 scholen bij Innovatieprogramma Onderwijshuisvesting.     Na de politieke besluitvorming vorig jaar lag de focus op effectief beheer, maximale impact en een sterke positie van Nederland. Voorzitter van de adviescommissie Rianne Letschert: "Namens de hele adviescommissie ben ik trots op de 50 projecten die momenteel worden uitgevoerd. De toekenningen en de start van de uitvoering zijn slechts het begin. Wij blijven ons inzetten om deze projecten tot volle bloei te laten komen en hun impact te maximaliseren." Berlijn was deze week het centrum van nationale en Europese #6G-programma’s! Van 1 tot 3 juli bracht de het Duitse 6G-programma meer dan 1.000 Europese deelnemers samen voor de Berlin 6G Conference 2025! Tijdens de conferentie vertegenwoordigde Jos Berière het Nederlandse FNS-programma bij de sessie International Collaboration, naast vertegenwoordigers van andere Europese programma’s. Drie verschillende waardeketens werden gepresenteerd als basis voor verdere samenwerking. In het aansluitende panel werd benadrukt dat de stap van onderzoek naar concrete oplossingen nu wordt gezet, met als doel het versterken van de waardeketens. Ljupco Jorguseski presenteerde het FNS-programma in de context van industriële IoT-toepassingen, met de nadruk op use cases zoals de draadloze fabriek, draadloze detectie en transportknooppunten, die elk een aanzienlijk potentieel hebben voor industriële implementatie. Tijdens de sessie werd gewezen op het voordeel van het vervangen van kabels door draadloze verbindingen, met name in fabrieken waar tijdens de productie meer flexibiliteit en mobiliteit van machines vereist is. Er was een goede discussie over de vraag of de huidige technologische mogelijkheden voldoende zijn om aan de eisen van draadloze fabrieken te voldoen, of dat factoren als acceptatie, maatwerk en monetarisering een belangrijkere rol spelen. Dit blijft een uitdagend en cruciaal gebied, vooral met het oog op de ontwikkelingen op het gebied van 6G. De bijeenkomst bood voor Paul Wijngaard volop gelegenheid om bij te praten met deelnemers uit andere 6G-projecten en nationale programma’s uit landen zoals Duitsland, Japan, Finland, Frankrijk, het Verenigd Koninkrijk, Singapore, evenals vertegenwoordigers van de EU en de SNS JU. Een belangrijke boodschap kwam van het oudste 6G-programma, Finland. Ari Poulu onderstreepte het cruciale belang van weerbaarheid in 6G-netwerken. Finland ervaart al verstoringen in GPS-signalen en nu ook actieve verstoringen in mobiele netwerken aan de grens. Dit belang werd onderschreven door Duitsland. Technologische ontwikkelingen op dit gebied kunnen niet alleen de digitalisering versnellen en waarde creëren, maar ook de weerbaarheid van Europa versterken.
