⛵ 74 boats. 148 skippers. 7,500 miles. One historic race. And now, for the first time ever, the legendary “coffee route” race is setting off under the flag of TRANSAT CAFÉ L’OR Le Havre Normandie! Founded in 1993 through a partnership between the French coffee brand Jacques Vabre and the city of Le Havre, the race has been a bi-annual tradition ever since, inspired by the historic 18th-century trade route that first carried coffee from the Americas to Europe. ☕ Our L’OR brand is the proud new face of the 17th edition of the famous transatlantic sailing event, which will see four classes of boats sail from northern France to Martinique starting October 26.
