Did you know you can see, smell and feel healthy soil? Enriched soil creates better growing conditions and stores carbon. Since 2024, we’ve partnered with more than 60 farmers in North America to advance regenerative practices over more than 50,000 acres of land, with a goal to ensure farm productivity and resilience. Through our programs, we're helping these farmers assess field conditions, implement regenerative agriculture practices and drive measurable environmental impacts and tangible improvements in soil health and carbon reductions and removals. LDC's regenerative agriculture program manager in North America, Paul, shares insights from the field on how regenerative agriculture brings soil to life. Change in cotton production begins on the farm - and we saw it firsthand in Mississippi, US! We invited our downstream partners from retailers to textile mills to meet the farmers that produce LDC's regenerative cotton. Growers showed how regenerative cotton is cultivated through practices like cover cropping, reduced fertilizer use and no-till farming - practices that help to mitigate climate change, restore biodiversity and support the welfare of farming communities. Field visits like these help connect supply chain participants and demonstrate how high-quality fibers are sustainably grown and fully traceable back to farm. 🔗 Discover our regenerative agriculture programs: https://shorturl.at/8h2hI #WeAreLDC
