Yesterday at Webrazzi Summit 2025, Revo Capital’s Founding Partner and Managing Director Cenk Bayrakdar took the stage on the panel “The New Codes of the Era: The Investment Ecosystem Agenda” to discuss how Türkiye’s venture capital ecosystem is evolving within the shifting dynamics of global tech investing 🌍 2025 was a transformative year for both Revo Capital and the global #VC landscape. Revo completed the first close of Fund III at $86 million, reinforcing its position as Türkiye’s largest tech-focused VC 🦾 In 2025 alone, Fund III made 8 new investments, including VIRGOSOL, Eachlabs, boby.ai, MYTH AI Design Generator, Flowla, Kahuna, Botel AI, and Alpaka Games, with 2 more to be announced soon 🤩 Cenk Bayrakdar noted that while global VC funding fell from its 2021 peak of $681B to $314B in 2024, a rebound is underway. Liquidity is returning with easing interest rates, and investor focus is shifting toward #AI-driven efficiency, sustainable growth, and real product–market fit. Against this backdrop, Fund III was built to close Türkiye’s Series A gap, where only 3.4% of startups advance beyond seed compared to 20% in Europe, targeting $1–5M Series A/B rounds and leveraging a “Global HQ + Türkiye R&D” model to combine local talent with global scale 🌉 Between 2021 and 2025, Revo Capital’s portfolio companies attracted $3.5B+ in follow-on funding, >90% from international investors, underscoring Türkiye’s emergence as a regional innovation hub. Looking ahead, Revo Capital plans to raise Fund III above $100M in 2026, invest in 25+ tech startups with roots in Türkiye over the next 5 years, and continue driving impactful exits 🚀 As Cenk Bayrakdar summed up: “The next chapter of venture capital will reward disciplined builders, those who merge innovation with resilience. Türkiye is now one of the most exciting frontiers for that transformation” 💡
