In the sea of climate pessimism, this founder made us feel hopeful. Meet Lili Capucine P., who is using UN's data to precisely map out how sea levels will rise in 25, 50, or even 100 years. Lili, her partner Arno, and her brother Timeo are developing a tool to help local municipalities take urgent decisions regarding the relocation of whole communities and essential infrastructure, like schools and hospitals. Their #criticalask it to be connected to a small town or a village facing sea level rise that would benefit from actionable coastline data and thus help the team develop their product.
