Last week, Versuni concluded our 2024 Full Year results. We are extremely proud of what we achieved in the past year. In 2024, we continued to work on our purpose of turning houses into homes. More than before, with all the turmoil in the world, home is THE space for people to feel safe, be comfortable, and be healthy. While the macro environment remains volatile, we are pleased with double-digit growth in comparable sales and in absolute adjusted EBITDA. This brings us north of the 3-billion-euro sales mark, demand for our products remains strong across the majority of our markets and categories. We made this possible through our amazing teams, our strong brands like Philips, and by continuing to disrupt with breakthrough innovations. One week later, and we’re still feeling the energy from Philips HomeFest. Our first-ever global brand event in Paris was more than just a milestone — it was a moment where the Philips brand came to life in the most tangible way. Over the course of two days, we opened our doors to more than 400 journalists and influencers from 6 different countries, and welcomed hundreds of consumers, all excited to experience the best of Philips home appliances. From testing Philips OneUp electric mop to sipping espresso from the Philips Baristina or enjoying silky cappuccinos from the Philips LatteGo — guests experienced the full potential of all our appliances. They cooked with the new Philips Airfryer 5000 Series Dual Basket with Steam, de-wrinkled and refreshed outfits with the Handheld Steamer 5000 Series, and discovered how to unlock it all through our HomeID app. Events like these don’t come together overnight. They’re built on hard work, creativity, and collaboration from teams across the globe. A huge thank you to everyone who helped bring Philips HomeFest to life. That’s a wrap! The doors of our first global brand event, Philips HomeFest has officially come to a close. Every Philips innovation is driven by consumer insights and needs, so day 2 of Philips HomeFest saw hundreds of consumers enter our ‘home’ in Paris, where guests were able to experience the latest home innovations from Philips. Guests were immersed in cooking workshops, getting their hands on the latest Philips Airfryer 5000 Series Dual Basket with Steam. Elsewhere, the newly launched Philips OneUp electric mop was tested and trialed by consumers, getting usually tricky spills off floors with no hassle. As expected, coffee was enjoyed by many, as the Philips Baristina provided real espresso in one single swipe and for those who enjoy milk in their coffees, the Philips LatteGo was on hand. The Philips Handheld Steamer 5000 Series was also featured at Philips HomeFest, showcasing its no-burn guarantee on all fabrics and offering the freedom to wear what you want, anywhere! Full potential of these innovations was unlocked by the HomeID app. During the event, guests were invited to explore the full potential of HomeID for themselves – experiencing firsthand how it adds value and convenience to their daily routines.
