Deze maand kwamen ruim 45 collega’s samen voor de Amgen SummerSchool 2025 – een mooi moment om te investeren in persoonlijke én professionele groei. Tijdens deze dagen werkten we aan een breed scala aan competenties en vaardigheden. Het enthousiasme, de betrokkenheid en de leergierigheid van onze collega’s waren prachtig om te zien. Initiatieven zoals de SummerSchool onderstrepen hoe belangrijk we continue ontwikkeling vinden binnen Amgen. Alleen door te blijven leren, kunnen we inspelen op een snel veranderende wereld en samen blijven bouwen aan betere zorg. Together, we pedaled for impact 💙 Last Friday, more than 50 passionate cyclists from Amgen took on the challenge of the Amgen’s Tour of Brabant—and what an inspiring ride it was! Beyond the kilometers and sore legs, it was our shared goal that kept us moving: while turning wheels, we were making a real difference. Yesterday, we were proud to present a cheque to two respected partners: 👉 Stichting Matchis, supporting stem cell donations 👉 Hartstichting, fighting cardiovascular diseases This initiative reflects the heart of who we are at Amgen: empowered to drive meaningful impact across our site and within our community. We were delighted to host the Life Sciences & Health Team from Invest in Holland at Amgen. Together, we share a passion for life sciences and biotech ❤️. It was a pleasure to demonstrate the impactful work we do at our site in Breda — bringing biotech innovations to patients through science. This is what connects us. A big shout-out to Bart Kennes and Nick Brouwers for taking us on an inspiring tour of the production facility. We’ve come a long way since establishing our presence in the Netherlands in 1997 — and we’re proud of the journey so far. Amgen is biotech ❤️. Serving patients through science is at the heart of everything we do. Every day, around 900 colleagues — representing over 40 nationalities — go the extra mile in our mission to serve patients. At our Breda site, we assemble, label and package our products to enable their distribution throughout Europe and an expanding number of countries around the world 🌎. Our Amgen Breda center of excellence also hosts clinical operations, the Dutch commercial organization, and various global support departments.
