We have replaced the high temperature rotary kiln at our facility in Kumla, Sweden, to ensure continued treatment of complicated hazardous waste from society and industry.   Removal of hazardous substances is a prerequisite for a safe circular economy and material circulation.   Safety has been the focus during the replacement of the rotary kiln, with heavy lifting and demanding work. Did you know that two-thirds of Europe’s surface water is polluted? Tackling this global challenge requires both strong competence and collaboration. This week we welcomed 11 researchers from Japan, representing the CAR-PFAS (Consortium for Advanced Research on PFAS) and National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), to our site in Kumla, Sweden. The purpose of their visit was to learn more about how we work to identify, handle, and reduce PFAS in materials and water streams. The visit was organized in collaboration with Örebro University, which hosted the Japanese delegation as part of a broader initiative to strengthen international PFAS research and knowledge sharing. Pioneering circularity, together with customers and partners!

From waste to value: Together, we can turn waste into value and build a more sustainable future. In partnership with Glava®, we work towards keeping glass from windows, windshields, and other sources out of landfills by giving it a new life as insulation material. The results: ♻️ 14 949 t of glass sent with purpose of being recycled into glass wool ✅ 30 047 t CO₂e potentially avoided GHG-emissions #PioneeringCircularity
