Exploring U.S. Opportunities with the Healthcare Innovation Accelerator    At DNB, we are proud to support some of the most promising early-stage companies in #medtech and #healthcare IT through the Healthcare Innovation Accelerator. The goal? To help these Norwegian startups take meaningful steps toward entering and succeeding in the U.S. market. – We are fully committed to be the go-to US/Nordic Healthcare Bank. DNB has a unique position in the Nordics, but also as the only Nordic Bank with dedicated team focusing on Healthcare in the US. The US is a key target for Norwegian health companies due to its market size and willingness to invest, says Anne Grabe, Global Head of Healthcare in DNB.     The program launched during the DNB Nordic Healthcare Conference in Oslo last fall, and over the past months, participating companies have received expert guidance through workshops, webinars, and tailored training focused on international growth and investor readiness.    Last week, the journey culminated in New York City, where DNB hosted the companies at our offices in the 81st floor of the North Tower in Hudson Yards. The view offered a dramatic reminder of the scale and potential of the U.S. healthcare market — but more importantly, it marked a chance to connect with DNB’s U.S. Healthcare team and our partners at Back Bay Life Science Advisors.    The program also included participation at the Nordic American Healthcare Conference, where the startups pitched to a panel of U.S. investors, and an inspiring visit to Nasdaq.    – Through this program, we aim to lower the barriers Norwegian healthcare startups face when entering the U.S. market — by offering insights, preparation, and access to the right people, says Torgrim Isaksen, MD, Healthcare Industry Expert at DNB, and adds: – We believe in these companies, and we’re excited to follow their journey. Norwegian health innovations heading to the the U.S. 🤝 The Healthcare Innovation Accelerator is officially wrapped up! These were the selected companies 👉 Nordic Brain Tech AS, GlucoSet, Induvita AS, Nordiq Products AS, ExAC AS, Deepinsight, RESPINOR AS and Sensocure AS. This accelerator programme is specifically designed to help these healthcare enterprises scale up and create stronger connections between the Norwegian and American markets. 🏙️ The programme concluded with a market visit to NYC, featuring inspiring visits to Nasdaq, DNB, and pitching in a Lion's Den at the Nordic-American Healthcare Conference with judges from Northwell Health, Tanner Health, GSK, ReDesign Health, a private investor and Camford Capital. Participants also engaged with NYCEDC and Mount Sinai Innovation Partners, gaining valuable insights into the U.S. healthcare landscape. The USA is a key market for Norwegian health solutions and bringing our cutting-edge innovations to New York City is an exciting step in strengthening global opportunities.
