Patentstyret - Norwegian Industrial Property Office (NIPO) la ut dette på nytt
What a morning at Mesh in Oslo! ✨ Together with Truls P. Berg and Open Innovation Lab, we hosted “Innovation and IP Protection Strategy – Global Perspectives and Smart Moves” - a breakfast session during Oslo Innovation Week exploring how companies can turn ideas into global growth and how a smart IP strategy can protect and strengthen that journey. From the first coffee to the final panel, the atmosphere was buzzing with energy, curiosity and future optimism✨✨ One of the many highlights of the session came from Bill Reichert of Pegasus Tech Ventures, who had arrived from San Francisco this morning. He urged us Norwegians to kill the “Jante Law” — to be bolder, prouder, and more confident in scaling our ideas globally. At Patentstyret - Norwegian Industrial Property Office (NIPO), we couldn’t agree more. We cheer for every entrepreneur and innovator who dares to think big — and who also, of course, sees a good IP strategy not as a formality, but as a foundation for growth and international success Ingrid Fallrø Skrede from Ludenso and Frode Iglebæk from Cartesian shared their impressive international journeys. Ludenso – an edtech scale-up now present in more than 150 markets – and Cartesian – recently selected as one of just 11 startups to join the Amazon Sustainability Accelerator – both illustrate how Norwegian innovation can scale globally with purpose and impact 🌍 Also, a big thank-you to IP experts Anne Marie Sejersted at Wiersholm and Laura Mannering at Bryn Aarflot for sharing important insights and smart moves on IP strategy 🌟
