🌊🇵🇭🇦🇹Austrian "beach shorts" (Trachtenlederhosen) on tour! 🇦🇹🇵🇭🌊 Despite earthquakes and stormy rains, Geeks On A Beach in Cebu, Philippines went full speed ahead and so did we at the Austrian Business Agency / ABA – WORK in AUSTRIA. 🎤 I spoke on stage about career opportunities for Filipino IT & Tech professionals in Austria 🎥 Gave interviews & shared insights 🤝 Connected with multipliers and leaders of the Philippine IT & Tech community 📍Showcased Austria at our corner with a heart-shaped supply of Red Bull cans❤️ All while proudly wearing my traditional Austrian Trachtenlederhosen, which doubles as “Austrian beach shorts” 😉 — paired with a fitting Red-White-Red shirt to represent Austria. Big thanks to the organizers and community leaders for the warm welcome, even through the challenging weather conditions. Thank you Tina Amper Dave Overton Angelica Manlunas Ronald Delos Nieves Jr.

I help brands tell better stories! | Author: The Human Prompt | Founder: NxtStory Studios

Office hours, but make it community-powered. Last month, I had the honor of speaking at an international tech conference in Cebu (Geeks On A Beach). Beyond the panels and presentations, my favorite moments came from the quiet ones, sitting across startup founders during office hours, listening to them dream out loud. I was there to offer insights on marketing and brand growth. But let’s be honest, half the time, I left more inspired than I arrived. These founders weren’t just pitching ideas. They were building stories, often from scratch. Most were young, scrappy, and hungry to make things better, not just bigger. That’s what makes communities like this thrive. Not spotlighting individuals, but lighting up the shared passion to build something that matters. And I’m here for it. Always.

Good talks. Great people. Deals that feel like destiny; maybe a little salt air too.🌴 This is what happens when work meets real human connection. At Remotify Experiences, we’re redefining what the workplace means, taking teams, founders, and remote professionals out of screens and into shared moments that matter. Every quarter, we bring people together across the Philippines to connect, collaborate, and co-create. Whether you’re a remote worker looking for community or a company searching for your next great hire, this is where those conversations begin. Because the best partnerships don’t always start in boardrooms. Sometimes, they start on a boat. Huge thanks to Geeks On A Beach for having us as your official Experience Partner for 2025. A great reminder that growth happens best when it’s fueled by real connection. Let's Remotify https://remotify.ph

10+ years in software engineering — from early data eng at UtilityAPI to building monetization strategies and AI agents at PD. Passionate about tech, education, and community impact. ✌🏻

🌏 Bringing AI Awareness to Philippine Provinces This has been a lifelong dream of mine — to make an impact in my home province in the Philippines. 🇵🇭 There are so many incredible AI events happening in big cities like Manila and Cebu, but we cannot forget about the provinces. This is where people will feel the deepest effects of AI-driven job displacement. To give you a perspective, it took years to build up the BPO industry in these regions — but when AI agents become capable enough, it could feel like a light switch turning off overnight. That’s why I’m doing my part now — to help cushion the impact and prepare our communities to adapt, up-skill, and thrive in the age of AI. ⚡ Yesterday evening - ICT Dumaguete hosted its third event, bringing together students, professionals, and teachers to explore LLMs and Generative AI more deeply. Instead of relying on big tech to define the future, we challenged ourselves to understand today’s limitations — and how we can fix them together. Huge thank you to Brandon Amos for sharing his insights and helping us bring this conversation to our corner of the world. And a big shoutout to everyone who woke up at 7AM to join this session! ☕ 📊 Here’s a quick look at where our participants came from — it's mostly from Negros Oriental Colleges (Dumaguete to Bayawan!), joined by students from Manila and industry professionals eager to learn, share, and collaborate. 61 participants joined out of 132 registrants ICT Dumaguete are hosting more events in the pipeline: - 5 day python workshop in November featuring Sony Valdez (we're looking for sponsors to reduce student ticket cost & Teacher Assistant volunteers) - another free webinar featuring Philippines & UK AI innovators. Here are some stats for the event:

“At the heart of every fearless Filipina is a story of courage, one that begins in uncertainty but grows through persistence and purpose. European Startup Ecosystem | Emerging Markets Tech Trends | Cross Border Investments & Open Innovation | Founder @InnovAsia | Early-stage startups mentor

When Structure Meets Speed: Bridging Southern Europe and Southeast Asia’s Startup Ecosystems 🌉 “Two different ecosystems, both underdogs in their regions. But both are now rising, building their own innovation models. Now is the time for stronger connection and collaboration between them.” That was the core message of my speech at Geeks On A Beach 2025 last week in Cebu, the most informal and energetic innovation event in the Philippines, surrounded by an incredible community hungry for innovation💡. A huge thanks to the organizers, especially Tina Amper, Dave Overton, Charmel Angeline Samson and the entire team, for creating such a vibrant community, and to my friend Péter Kovács, who invited me to join! It was a great opportunity to meet inspiring founders, investors, and ecosystem builders shaping the future of innovation in the Philippines 🇵🇭. I can’t tag everyone, but I’m grateful to each person who shared their story and perspective with me. If you want to dive deeper into why these two regions matter and how their models are converging, read my full article here: https://lnkd.in/d9645BN7
