Why build a Discord community for Ruby Europe? It’s not that people keep asking us this outright, but we can feel this is an important question. Over the years, we’ve had dozens or even hundreds of amazing Ruby events. meetups, conferences, workshops. Inspiring talks, excited faces, deep conversations. And then… nothing. 😒 No shared space. No way to follow up. The energy disappears. What’s left is just a blurry memory of “that great event” that could have sparked something more but didn’t. We don’t want to keep repeating that cycle. ❌ Instead, we want to help people stay connected - before, during, and long after an event. Because that’s the only way to "transform moments to a real momentum". Events are amazing. But at the end of the day community is what makes them matter in the long run. 🤝 So come hang out!
