📢 CMS advises mBank S.A. on landmark financing of a 13-site rooftop PV portfolio for EPP. We are proud to share that CMS Poland has advised mBank S.A. on the partial financing of a portfolio of 13 rooftop photovoltaic installations developed by EPP, located across some of Poland’s most prominent shopping centres, namely: Galaxy, Galeria Echo, Pasaż Grunwaldzki, King Cross Marcelin, Outlet Park, Galeria Amber, Galeria Sudecka, Galeria Olimpia, Galeria Veneda, Galeria Twierdza Zamość, Galeria Solna, Galeria Twierdza Kłodzko, and Galeria Młociny. This landmark transaction represents a significant step forward for sustainable investment in Poland, setting a new benchmark for the integration of renewable energy solutions in the commercial property sector. It stands as a testament to the vital role that financial institutions can play in driving the green transformation of the real estate environment and supporting the transition to a low-carbon economy. The CMS team provided end-to-end legal support throughout the transaction, including the preparation and negotiation of finance documentation, as well as conducting legal due diligence. The transaction was led by Karolina Bandzul-Król, with valuable support from Katarzyna Kaptur and Michał Madaj, under the supervision of Michal Mezykowski.
