Dr. Weimin Guo is a Research Assistant Professor of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. His research focuses on how dietary and nutritional interventions influence lifespan and healthspan, with particular emphasis on the mechanisms underlying colon cancer, immune regulation, obesity, and age-related metabolic dysfunction. Recent studies in his lab explore the effects of Mediterranean and plant-rich diets, zinc supplementation, and gut microbiota on tumor development, systemic inflammation, and healthy aging using preclinical models.
