⚡️ Universidade do Porto, through U.Porto Inovação, has secured €164,000 from Portugal 2030, COMPETE 2030, and NORTE 2030 to support four energy innovation projects at Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto. 🚀 Porto Leading Investor Euronext strengthens its footprint in the city Euronext has inaugurated its new headquarters in the heart of Porto, in a fully renovated historic building that once housed the Faculty of Pharmacy. Described by CEO Stephane Boujnah as the group’s largest-ever real estate investment, the project will allow the company to expand its local team to between 600 and 700 people. In just over 8 years, Euronext’s Porto technology and services centre has grown from fewer than 100 employees to nearly 500, making it the group’s third-largest location in Europe. For Rui Moreira, Mayor of Porto, this expansion "confirms the strategic importance" of the city, demonstrating its ability to attract high-value international investment and compete on a European scale. With support from InvestPorto, the project further reinforces the city’s role as a hub for innovation, talent, and sustainable growth in both finance and technology.
