Overview The Public Works Authority 'Ashghal' was established in 2004 to be responsible for the planning, design, procurement, construction, delivery, and asset management of all infrastructure projects and public buildings in Qatar. Ashghal’s key responsibilities include governing the design, construction, and management of major projects including roads, drainage and buildings such as public buildings, schools and hospitals. Adhering to the Qatar National Vision 2030, the Authority contributes to the economic and social development of the State of Qatar, with projects valued at over QR 100 billion to be delivered within the next five to seven years. Our Mission To deliver and manage state-of-the-art, sustainable world class buildings and infrastructure that fulfill the Qatar National Vision 2030. Our Vision In 2018 Ashghal will be a dynamic, responsive and customer centric organization that creates shared value for all stakeholders through outsourcing and partnership with the world’s best. عن هيئة الأشغال العامة "أشغال" تم إنشاء هيئة الأشغال العامة "أشغال" في عام 2004 لتشرف على عملية التخطيط، والتصميم، والبناء، وإدارة الأصول لجميع مشاريع البنية التحتية والمباني والمرافق العامة في قطر. وتشمل مهام "أشغال" الأساسية الإشراف على تصميم وإنشاء وإدارة مشاريع كبرى للطرق والصرف الصحي والمباني العامة من مدارس ومستشفيات ومبان حكومية وغيرها. وتشكل الهيئة داعماً أساسياً لعملية التنمية الاقتصادية والاجتماعية لتحقيق رؤية قطر 2030، حيث يبلغ حجم المشاريع التي تقوم الهيئة بتنفيذها خلال الخمس إلى السبع سنوات القادمة ما تتجاوز قيمته 100 مليار ريال قطري. رسالتنا تنفيذ وتسليم وإدارة بنية تحتية ومبان مستدامة ومعاصرة، بمواصفات عالمية وحديثة تحقق رؤية قطر الوطنية 2030. رؤيتنا بحلول عام 2018 ستكون هيئة الأشغال العامة هيئة ديناميكية، تستجيب لحاجة الشركاء وتخلق قيمة مشتركة لكل ذوي العلاقة من خلال الإستعانة بالقطاع الخاص والتحالف مع الأفضل في العالم...

في إطار دعم #أشغال للمبادرات الطلابية التي تسهم في تعزيز ثقافة الابتكار وترسيخ الشراكة مع المؤسسات العلمية والمهنية في الدولة، شاركت الهيئة في الاجتماع الخاص ببرنامج STEM الذي أطلقته جمعية المهندسين القطرية بالتعاون مع النادي العلمي. خلال الاجتماع، قدّم مجموعة من الطلاب عرضاً لمشروعهم المتعلق بـ "إنارة الطرق" باستخدام الطاقة الشمسية وهم: جاسم الحجاجي، عبدالله القحطاني، سعيد المسند وخليفة المسند. تهدف الفكرة إلى استكشاف حلول ابتكارية تسهم في تطوير شبكات الإنارة وتحسين كفاءتها. تم مناقشة جوانب المشروع والتطرق لإمكانات تطبيق بعض أفكاره وتطويرها ضمن أعمال الإنارة المستقبلية. — As part of Ashghal's support for student initiatives that contribute to fostering a culture of innovation and strengthening partnerships with scientific and professional institutions in the country, the Authority participated in the STEM programme meeting launched by the Qatar Society of Engineers in cooperation with the Science Club. During the meeting, a group of students gave a presentation on their project related to "Road Lighting" using solar energy. They were: Jassim Al Hajjaji, Abdullah Al Qahtani, Saeed Al Mesnad and Khalifa Al Mesnad The idea aims to explore innovative solutions that contribute to developing lighting networks and improving their efficiency. Aspects of the project were discussed and the possibilities of applying some of its ideas within street lighting were discussed #CSR #ِAshghal #Qatar
