QFC welcomed a Swiss FinTech delegation, organised in collaboration with the Embassy of Switzerland in Qatar and the Swiss Business Hub Middle East. We’re pleased to participate in the upcoming Qatar Investment and Innovation Conference, where our CEO, Yousuf Al-Jaida, will join a panel discussion on “Fostering Entrepreneurship and Driving Economic Growth in the GCC.” We continue to support the development of a dynamic private sector, strengthened by innovation, strategic partnerships, and an enabling business environment aligned with Qatar National Vision 2030.

We met with representatives from the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Dubai to explore collaboration opportunities across the financial and professional services sectors. 🤝 The discussion focused on enhancing economic and trade ties between the two markets, supporting enterprises in expanding their business presence, and building on the outcomes of the Chief Executive’s delegation visit earlier this year. - شكّل لقاؤنا مع ممثلي مكتب هونغ كونغ الاقتصادي والتجاري في دبي فرصة لاستكشاف مجالات التعاون في قطاعي الخدمات المالية والمهنية. وقد ركزت المباحثات على تعزيز العلاقات الاقتصادية والتجارية بين البلدين، ودعم الشركات في توسيع حضورها التجاري في قطر والمنطقة، والبناء على نتائج زيارة الرئيس التنفيذي للمكتب في وقت سابق من هذا العام. 🤝

We welcomed a delegation from China Securities (International) Finance Holding Company Limited, a leading securities company listed on the Hong Kong and Shanghai Stock Exchanges. Led by Chairman Mr. Jiang Yueqin, the delegation visited Qatar to explore opportunities for collaboration and knowledge exchange in the financial sector. China Securities’ investment banking, wealth management, fixed income, and asset management businesses have achieved remarkable growth, consistently ranking among the top in the industry. The visit highlighted prospects for joint initiatives across Qatar, Hong Kong, and China, reinforcing QFC’s role as a global platform connecting financial markets. - ترأس الوفد السيد جيانغ يوتشين، رئيس مجلس الإدارة، حيث جاءت الزيارة إلى قطر بهدف استكشاف فرص التعاون وتبادل الخبرات في القطاع المالي. حققت شركة الصين للأوراق المالية نموًا ملحوظًا في مجالات الخدمات المصرفية الاستثمارية، وإدارة الأصول، والدخل الثابت، وإدارة الثروات، مما جعلها من الشركات الرائدة في هذا المجال. وقد سلطت الزيارة الضوء على مبادرات مشتركة بين قطر وهونغ كونغ والصين، مؤكدةً دور مركز قطر للمال كمنصة عالمية تربط بين الأسواق المالية الدولية.

QFC is proud to partner with the Ministry of Labour to launch the Trusted Employer Scheme for private sector companies. 🤝 As part of this initiative, QFC hosted the first introductory briefing for two QFC firms evaluated against key indicators of compliance with our rules, standards, and regulations. The scheme aims to strengthen corporate compliance, enhance confidence in the labour market, and promote sustainable, high-quality workplace practices in line with Qatar National Vision 2030. It also seeks to streamline administrative processes for compliant firms, attract investment, and raise overall standards of governance and workforce management. — أطلق مركز قطر للمال بالشراكة مع وزارة العمل برنامج "صاحب العمل الموثوق" لشركات القطاع الخاص. في إطار هذه المبادرة، استضاف المركز أول جلسة تعريفية مسجلتين على منصة أعماله تابعتين حيث تم تقييمهما بناءً على مؤشرات رئيسية للامتثال للقواعد واللوائح والأنظمة. 🤝 يهدف البرنامج إلى تحسين امتثال الشركات، وتعزيز الثقة في سوق العمل، وترسيخ ممارسات العمل المستدامة وعالية الجودة، بما يتماشى مع رؤية قطر الوطنية 2030. كما يهدف إلى تبسيط الإجراءات الإدارية للشركات الملتزمة، وجذب الاستثمارات، ورفع معايير الحوكمة وإدارة القوى العاملة بشكل عام.

We jointly hosted a workshop along with Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory Authority (QFCRA) to provide practical guidance on the fund incorporation and registration process within the QFC. The session explored key aspects including: 🟣 The respective functions of QFCA and QFCRA and how they interact throughout the registration process. 🟣 The distinctions between the COLL and PROF regimes. 🟣 Accurate completion of Q18A and Q18B forms. 🟣 Governance requirements, supporting documents, and common application deficiencies. Participants gained valuable insights and tools to ensure complete and compliant applications, as well as to meet post-registration obligations. The workshop will soon be rolled out to regulated firms and their service providers, stay tuned. — استضفنا ورشة عمل مشتركة مع هيئة تنظيم مركز قطر للمال (QFCRA) لتقديم إرشادات عملية حول عملية تأسيس وتسجيل الصناديق ضمن مركز قطر للمال (QFC). وتناولت الجلسة محاور رئيسية منها: 🟣مهام كلٍّ من هيئة مركز قطر للمال (QFCA) وهيئة تنظيم مركز قطر للمال (QFCRA) وآلية التعاون بينهما خلال عملية التسجيل. 🟣الفروقات بين نظامي COLL وPROF 🟣كيفية تعبئة النماذج Q18A وQ18B 🟣متطلبات الحوكمة، والمستندات الداعمة، وأوجه القصور الشائعة في الطلبات. اكتسب المشاركون رؤى وأدوات قيّمة تُمكّنهم من إعداد طلبات مكتملة ومتوافقة مع المتطلبات، والوفاء بالالتزامات اللاحقة للتسجيل. وسيتم قريبًا تنظيم الورشة للمؤسسات الخاضعة للتنظيم ومقدّمي خدماتها.
