We are delighted to welcome Nalini Blacker as Head of Engineering at OX2 Australia. Nalini brings over 15 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, having held senior engineering and leadership roles at Atmos Renewables, Total Eren, and Pacific Hydro. Her expertise spans wind, solar and battery energy storage projects, with a strong focus on technical due diligence, project delivery and asset performance. Nalini’s extensive industry experience will be a valuable asset as we continue to accelerate access to renewable energy in Australia. “I’m excited to be joining OX2 Australia to lead the engineering team. It’s a great opportunity to contribute to a company with bold ambitions, and I’m looking forward to helping create and optimise assets as an IPP. What I love about engineering is its role in turning ideas into reality, connecting every part of a project from development through construction to operations. We are proud to supply Apple with clean energy through a long-term power purchase agreement (#PPA) from the 99MW Green Breeze wind farm in Galați County, Romania. The project, currently under construction by OX2, is owned by Nala Renewables and is expected to be commissioned in 2026. The PPA was originated by OX2. “We’re pleased to partner with Nala Renewables on the delivery of the Green Breeze wind farm and with Apple on the associated power purchase agreement. On the Beautiful Blue Danube. That’s where these Vestas turbines are, heading towards the Green Breeze wind farm, which we are currently building in Romania. The turbine components and 82-metre blades were loaded in Agigea, on the Black Sea coast, and have travelled by barge along the Danube to Galați, where they were unloaded and transported by trailer to the site. Green Breeze is OX2’s first project in Romania. It will include 16 turbines with a total capacity of 99.2 MW. The wind farm is owned by Nala Renewables and commissioning is planned for 2026. #renewableenergy #onshorewind

Today we celebrated the opening of the Bejsce Wind Farm in Poland! Located in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship in southeastern Poland, the wind farm consists of six turbines with a total capacity of 20 MW, enough to power nearly 20,000 households with clean energy each year. OX2 developed and built the Bejsce Wind Farm and now manages its technical and commercial operations on behalf of Enea Nowa Energia. “This is another important step in implementing OX2’s strategy to accelerate access to renewable energy in Poland and across Europe. We are expanding our own generation capacity, offering green energy solutions for businesses and industry, while also delivering projects for investors. We thank Enea Nowa Energia for their trust and partnership,” said Tomasz Guzowski, VP of OX2 Poland. We are delighted to welcome Joakim J. to OX2. Joakim is joining us as VP Energy Origination & Markets. He will be covering Market Intelligence, PPA (power purchase agreement) origination, Structuring & Pricing, as well as RTM (route to market). Joakim has worked in renewables for 22 years, and prior to that he spent six years in strategy consulting. He spent the last eight years at Aquila Capital, where he built up a Europe-wide Markets team, responsible for Energy Sales, Hedging and Market Research. During the last four years he was also on the Management Board of Aquila Clean Energy, responsible for Energy Markets, Asset Management as well as Development and Construction in Central and Northern Europe. Before joining Aquila, he spent 14 years at SN Power AS and Statkraft International, where he held executive positions in several of its local entities abroad. "I’m really proud to be joining OX2 as Vice President of Energy Origination and Markets. It’s an exciting time for the company, with strong momentum and a clear focus on driving the energy transition. I’m looking forward to building on OX2’s solid track record of creating value through PPAs with world-class off-takers, while also exploring innovative offtake solutions to support the company’s continued growth," says Joakim Johnsen. We’re proud to announce the completion and handover of the Niinimäki Wind Farm in Pieksämäki, the largest wind power project in Eastern Finland. Developed and built by OX2, the wind farm has now been transferred to its owners, Helen and Ålandsbanken Abp Wind Power Fund. “Building the first large-scale wind farm in Eastern Finland has been rewarding in many ways. The local reception in Pieksämäki has been very positive, especially among local entrepreneurs who welcomed the opportunities created by the project. Due to its location, Niinimäki Wind Farm also contributes to a more decentralized production of domestic wind power,” says Veli-Pekka Alkula, Country Manager, OX2 Finland. Niinimäki consists of 22 turbines with a total capacity of 145 MW and will produce over 400 GWh of clean electricity annually, enough to power approximately 80,000 households. This week, more than 500 colleagues from across OX2 came together for a two-day conference to unite as one team, align on our values and future direction, and to celebrate all we have accomplished. In a hybrid setup, our Executive Management Team broadcasted from a studio in Stockholm to gatherings in Helsinki, Warsaw, Melbourne, and Stockholm before continuing with local live conferences. Together, we looked ahead to the coming five years and our transition from a renewable energy developer to also being an independent power producer (IPP). It set the stage for the next chapter in our growth journey as we continue accelerating access to renewable energy. A huge thank you to everyone who participated!

“OX2 has been shaping the #PPA (Power Purchase Agreements) market since 2013, when we arranged Europe’s very first corporate PPA with Google. Over the years, many of the world’s leading companies have trusted us to secure long-term renewable energy supply,” says Lars Haavik, who recently joined OX2 as Head of PPA Origination. A PPA is a long-term contract where a buyer agrees to purchase electricity directly from a power producer at agreed terms and prices.
