🚨 Top 5 challenges of fiscalization - and how to tackle them 💡 Fiscalization projects are full of hurdles for retailers and POS vendors - from navigating tricky regulations to staying audit-ready. Here are 5 key challenge areas and how to overcome them: 1️⃣ Deciphering Regulatory Requirements Laws vary by country and change often. Translating legal text into system needs is key to avoiding non-compliance and penalties. 2️⃣ Implementing Legal Mandates Once you understand the rules, the real work begins: embedding them into your POS/back office software - with technical, legal, and compliance expertise. 3️⃣ Managing Certifications When certificates or fiscal devices are required, vendors must navigate audits, lab tests, and re-certifications. 4️⃣ Maintaining Compliance Configurations Compliance isn’t “set and forget.” You need strong version control, firmware updates, and smooth rollout processes. 5️⃣ Providing Ongoing Fiscal Support From audits to device issues, support is constant. Be ready to prove compliance and fix errors fast. 🔧📄 🤔 Strategize or Outsource? You can build internal teams or partner with experts. In our experience, the best ROI comes from providers covering all five areas. That’s why our solutions focus on each challenge - helping retailers and POS vendors stay compliant, reduce wasted effort, and remain audit-ready 24/7! #Fiscalization #POS #RetailTech #Compliance #FiscalSolutions

🚀 𝗣𝗮𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝘀𝗼𝗳𝘁𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲 💳 For over 22 years, we’ve partnered with large international retailers and POS software vendors to navigate ever-changing fiscal requirements. Over time, we’ve designed and refined multiple financial models - each reflecting its technological era. 💡 🖥️ In the days of monolithic, client - server architectures, perpetual licenses with annual maintenance fees were the norm. As thin clients, hosted platforms, and internet-delivered solutions emerged, the industry shifted to SaaS - monthly subscriptions based on required features. This model thrived on predictable resource usage and reliable cost forecasting. Today, AI-driven architectures and cloud-native deployments have redefined how software is delivered - and even what it means to “use” a system. 📈 Whether transactions start at a POS terminal, on a mobile device, via browser, or through an AI agent - the endpoint doesn’t matter. ✅ What does matter? The resources consumed and the value created with each transaction. Leading vendors are already adapting: 🔹 Salesforce’s Flex Credits charge per AI agent action 🔹 Visa charges agents per transaction Inspired by these innovations, we’re proud to introduce our own pay-per-transaction model. 💸 You only pay for what you use - never for idle capacity. If your retail business craves agility, transparency, and cost alignment → transaction-based pricing is the future. #RetailTech #Fiscalization #SaaS #Innovation #FiscalSolutions

Germany streamlines VAT refund process for non-EU businesses! On March 27, 2025, Germany’s Federal Ministry of Finance (BMF) announced key updates to its VAT refund procedure for non-EU companies - and the changes are effective immediately. What’s new? Digital submissions are now accepted, including: • eInvoices via the BOP portal or storage devices (e.g., USB stick) • VAT registration certificates in electronic form (must match Form USt 1 TN Model) 📌 All invoices must be submitted before the application deadline - no late submissions will be accepted. These updates aim to simplify the process, cut down on paperwork, and support a more efficient, digital-first approach for reclaiming German VAT. ✅ Great news for global businesses navigating cross-border tax compliance! #VAT #TaxCompliance #FiscalSolutions

What are the latest 10 news from the fiscalization world? 🌍 ➡️ In the Republic of Srpska’s new fiscal system, refunds or cancellations must be documented with a fiscal receipt - either a Sales Refund (PR) or Advance Refund (AR) - including buyer details and a reference to the original transaction. For cash refunds on-site, a non-fiscal copy must also be printed and signed by the buyer. ➡️In Germany, tips are tax-free if given voluntarily, directly to employees, and not included on the invoice. They become taxable when pooled, expected by policy, or received by self-employed individuals or business owners. ➡️Lithuania plans to revise VAT rates from January 1, 2026, pending Seimas approval by July 2025. Changes include higher VAT on heating and services, a 5% rate for books, and a new 10% tax on non-life insurance. ➡️Zimbabwe's ZIMRA requires all VAT-registered businesses to upgrade fiscal devices by May 31, 2025, to transmit buyer details to the FDMS. Only invoices with buyer info and a verifiable QR code will be valid for input tax claims. ➡️In Sweden, each cash register must have a unique manufacturing number under SKVFS 2009:1, identifying both software and hardware. Network-based systems must add unique IDs for each unit to comply. ➡️The Spanish Treasury requires invoices to be kept for at least four years, with five years for investment gold and six for business records. Proper record-keeping is essential to avoid fines up to 2% of the transaction value or €300 per violation. ➡️Bulgaria plans to adopt the euro starting January 1, 2026, pending official confirmation. During the one-month transition, ATMs will dispense only euros, and starter coin kits will be provided to ease the switch. ➡️On April 28, 2025, Turkey’s Revenue Administration updated the e-Invoice Package and UBL-TR Code Lists. From May 2, 2025, businesses must update their systems to comply with the new standards. ➡️Germany’s Environment Agency extended the 2024 single-use plastic reporting deadline to June 15, 2025. The levy remains due, but external audits are waived this year, though documentation may be requested. ➡️Poland’s new cash register regulation, effective July 1, 2025, permits e-receipts alongside paper receipts with customer consent. It also shortens compliance deadlines and clarifies rules for e-receipt legibility and technical standards. For more fiscal news, you can download our #FiscalNewsApp! #FiscalNews #Fiscalization
