🎉 Permy just won our very first pitching competition! YAY! Founders Live Stockholm was a blast (even though my umbrella went fully inside out thanks to the stormy wind and rain on the way there 🌧️😂). ⏱️ 99 seconds. That’s all you get to tell the audience: What you’re building, why it matters, and the impact it will bring. It’s one of the best founder exercises I’ve ever done. Before the pitches, Naimul Abd said something that stuck with me: sometimes these lightning pitches are even better than longer ones. Why? Because when you’re forced to strip everything down. To show the core of your mission. It doesn’t come easy. For us, it’s been iteration after iteration — and we’re still iterating. Pitching is so much more than a polished deck. It’s about resonance. It’s about clarity. Most of all, it’s about the audience. How do you take 99 seconds and make them feel what you feel? How do you make them see the world the way you see it, even if just for a minute and a half? There’s no “perfect” version. Just the version that’s a little sharper, a little clearer, a little more us each time. When Naimul Abd asked me about our biggest challenge right now, I had to smile. It’s about being that slim, mean machine as a startup team (that rhymes 😅), making the tough calls on where to put our precious founder time. Ruthlessly focusing on the things that truly make us grow. For those who don’t know: Founders Live is a global movement, now active in 125+ cities across 45+ countries. It’s more than just a competition. It’s about community, storytelling, and building momentum together.
