She told me a story

🍓 Last night’s meetup gave us a lot of “oh wow, same” vibes ✨ Thank you for showing up with open minds, open hearts, and very real stories. This time we talked a lot about friendships. How we show up. How we sometimes overanalyse every message, pause, or silence. How relationships don’t move in straight lines — they come in waves, seasons, chapters. 🌊🍂 We sat with questions like: – How do we actually find our people? – Can we truly be ourselves with our work besties — messy thoughts and all? – Where do ambition, vulnerability, and belonging meet? There were laughs. There were pauses. There were moments where the room went quiet in that good way — the something just landed way. What stayed with us most? ✨ That connection isn’t something you optimise. ✨ That not everything needs to be figured out right now. ✨ And that sometimes, just showing up as you are is more than enough. Thank you for trusting the room, each other, and yourselves. We left feeling a little lighter, a little more seen — and very grateful for this community. A fantastic way to wrap up She told me a story for 2025 🎄 Warm glögg and conversations around the Christmas tree at Media Evolution. We talked a lot about spaces - the ones where you feel accepted without trying, and the ones where you’re not sure if you should stay because something just doesn’t fit. That turned into a bigger conversation about feeling comfortable in our own skin, and how that shifts as we get older: in our behaviour, our confidence, what we tolerate, and what we don’t. Last STMS meetup was a soft, intimate one. We talked about research and medicine, about learning Swedish (the struggle is real), and the quiet shifts of pre-menopause — the ones that sneak up and make you wonder if it’s just stress. It’s not. We also talked about belonging — how it can show up in small ways. A “hej” on the street. A shared smile. A nod. Turns out intimacy doesn’t have to be loud. Just showing up, cheese board in hand, can be enough to build trust and ease. Thanks for coming, friends. See you in November ❤️🍓

September's meetup was deep. Heavy. Honest. We talked about what it means to belong and what happens when systems tell us we don’t.   🌍 About the gap between innovation plans and migration policies.   💔 About structural racism and systemic responsibility.   🔥 About anger – and how it’s not only okay to feel it, but necessary when facing injustice. And we also found strength together:    💡 Belonging can start from within.    💡 Humans belong everywhere, beyond divisions.    💡 Every emotion is a good emotion. It wasn’t easy. But it was real. And that’s what makes She told me a story so special – a place where we can be vulnerable, share, listen, and remind each other we’re not alone. We also want to thank Marta from Bullarbyn for the incredible bread and pastries, Media Evolution for hosting us, and everyone who joined and shared their stories.
