This week, global leaders gathered in Reykjavík for the International Desalination and Reuse Association (IDRA) Summit on Water & Climate Change, tackling one of the defining challenges of our time — how to secure water in a changing climate. Our Partner Bertrand Camus and Thematic Chair Aurélia CARRERE emphasized the need to connect innovation and nature to build resilience across the systems that sustain life. Because true water security begins with healthy waters. When rivers, lakes, and aquifers function as nature’s infrastructure — filtering, buffering, and storing — they create resilience that no treatment plant alone can deliver. Securing water means investing in its health — for people, nature, and the climate.

In partnership with Hamilton Lane and Zurich Insurance Group, we welcomed a group of investors and leaders in Berlin for an evening of networking during the GIIN Impact Forum. Together, we introduced and discussed the topic of “Impact + Alpha – Private Equity 4.0” – our perspective on how the private equity landscape continues to evolve. We believe that integrating impact into investment strategies is not only a moral imperative but also a powerful driver of long-term, resilient returns.
