The world is shifting. Markets are unstable, resources are scarce, and expectations are higher than ever. In these times, product management is tested.
At the Stockholm Product Conference, we explored how to not just survive turbulence, but to use it.
We were inspired by:
💛 Change is not an obstacle but fuel, a theme brought to life by product star Jonas Rödén.
💛 In scarcity, resourcefulness creates miracles, shown vividly through Mohammad Husseini’s story.
💛 We saw how projects can fuel products, and products can form the basis for projects, a powerful perspective from THE Jonas Brännvall.
💛 Product management is more than functional motivators it’s about working with emotions, as Nesrine Changuel reminded us. Somehow she wasn't caught by our photographer. But she caught our brains as she unravelled the next big thing in Product - DELIGHT
💛 Data must evolve into a living guide for our organizations, with insights from our Canadian friend Douglas Beeson.
💛 Even in hard times, glimpses of success shine through, as Niclas Norlén demonstrated. Compete by making friends.
💛 True progress requires balance, a lesson 🥋Chris Lukassen brought into focus.
💛 Execution is everything, you get there by measuring what truly matters, a point driven home by ✨ Büşra Coşkuner, the queen of numbers.
💛 Sometimes, we must go further, and dare radical product change, as Maria Wågberg helped us understand what it takes to succeed with re-platforming.
💛 And finally, the future shaped with AI givws us opportunities and challenges as Prof. Dr. Dr. Tony Gorschek shared.
💛 To complete the story, the sound of live jazz from Andreas & Filip filled the room, a rhythm of reflection and improvisation, reminding us that product management, like jazz, is about harmony in chaos. 🎷
This is what we took home: in turbulent times, product management is not about waiting for calm seas. It’s about turning storms into momentum. l
The wisdom of the one and only Juliette Vernel was shared both in the workshops and in the panel.
And a big, yes big, well, even bigger thanks to Sofie Ohlsén, Filippa Lilja and Fredrik Cewers Bredberg, Eva Skoglund Thomas Nordén for making it happen, and of course a big hug to Arezou Solouki for guiding us through the day.
