During one day, 183 software developers in 42 teams participated in the Sandvik Hackathon across 6 offices and collaborated over 5 time zones. During one day, we had 183 participants in 42 teams participating in 5 time zones. Curiosity to try new things, responsibility to take action, customer focus in mind and a fantastic spirit of winning together. Congrats to all participants for a work well done! And we’re off! 🚀 The Sandvik Hackathon has started across 5 time zones this morning. 183 colleagues are now heads-down coding, designing, and problem-solving. Their mission: use AI to make our software more user-friendly. We see whiteboards filling up with ideas on automating CAM programming, multi-language support, smart tool suggestions, and so much more. It’s truly energizing to witness!
