Through engaging activities like shaking the Omikuji, mastering origami, and experiencing our First Press Method firsthand, we’ve connected with consumers in ways that highlight Kirin’s premium craftsmanship and the joy of coming together. At APBS, we’re all about brewing the #JoyOfTrueTogetherness while promoting responsible drinking.   As a member of the Singapore Alliance for Responsible Drinking (SARD), we’re proud to support Singapore Police Force and National Crime Prevention Council on their Safe Clubbing Campaign. Together, we’ve created specially designed coasters that are now making their way across nightlife venues in Singapore. April was a month to remember as we brought our #BrewABetterWorld strategy to life, diving into activities that focused on social, environmental, and responsible impact. From an inspiring social impact ideathon, where we brainstormed how we can make a stronger positive difference, to a sustainability roadshow showcasing social organisations and sustainable local businesses – it was a month of real action and collaboration. This year’s Global Safety Week was a reminder that safety is more than just a priority – it’s a commitment we live by every day. Last week, our team hosted a range of activities, from first aid and CPR training to ergonomic guidance for manual lifting to reinforcing the importance of responsible drinking, with our Low. Slow. No. mantra. It was a chance for us to strengthen our culture of “Safety First,” ensuring that everyone returns home safely at the end of each day. Some leaders don’t just guide – they inspire, innovate, and ignite lasting change. At our recent Q2 townhall in mid-April, we bid a heartfelt farewell to our Managing Director, Reinoud Ottervanger, a leader who did all that with authenticity, vision, and direction.   Under his leadership, we reached incredible milestones, delivered strong results, faced challenges with unwavering courage, and grown into a team that dares and cares. Though unforeseen personal circumstances within his family have brought his chapter with APBS to an earlier close than expected, his impact is undeniable and deeply valued by everyone at APBS.   Thank you, Reinoud, for being a ‘lao ban’ who truly cared – about the people, the mission, and the future we’re building together.
