🌟 PBP 2025 Recap: Expert Sessions – Track C by Krystal Tang and Wan Hua Cheng Resilient by Design: Shaping Future-Ready Careers through Personality and Wellbeing What makes a workforce truly resilient? It is not just skills or systems — it is how people think, feel, and show up at work. In this insightful session, Krystal Tang and Wan Hua Cheng (CPsychol) from Aon explored how wellbeing and personality insights can help organisations design careers — and cultures — that thrive under change. Key Insights: 🔹 Wellbeing is Business-Critical: Stress is not just personal — it is felt at an organisational level. When wellbeing dips, so do productivity, retention, and culture. 🔹 The Wellbeing Paradox: Many companies offer generous benefits but still face burnout. The solution? Embed wellbeing into business strategy — link it to data, outcomes, and manager capability. 🔹 Personality as the Missing Link: How individuals cope, collaborate, and adapt stems from personality. HR leaders can tap on personality insights for fit, aligning individuals to roles, managers, and team cultures to enhance performance and satisfaction. 🔹 Data Meets Psychology: Combining wellbeing and personality analytics allows HR to predict stress, personalise support, and design sustainable career pathways. 🔹 From Reactive to Proactive: Through regular wellbeing pulse checks, manager training, and intentional design, organisations can move from managing burnout to building resilience by design. 🧠 The takeaway: To shape future-ready careers, HR must integrate wellbeing and personality into every stage of the employee journey — from hiring to leadership. #IHRP #PeopleBehindPeople2025 #Aon #FutureOfWork #EmployeeWellbeing #ResilientWorkforce #HRLeadership #PersonalityInsights #CareerDesign #WellbeingStrategy #WorkplaceCulture #DataDrivenHR

About us
The Institute for Human Resource Professionals (IHRP) is the HR professional body, set up by the tripartite partners: the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) and Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF). IHRP is the only HR professional body in Singapore authorised to implement the national HR credentials, which is known as the IHRP Certification. IHRP has the goal of setting the HR standards of excellence and enabling human capital development in enterprises. Through the IHRP Certification, IHRP aims to enhance the competencies of HR professionals, as well as create developmental and professional pathways for them. This will professionalise and strengthen the HR profession practice in Singapore, allowing HR professionals to be key enablers in their organisations. Our 15-member board of directors come from diverse backgrounds. The Chairperson is Mrs Deborah Ong, Retired Partner, PwC Singapore. Why IHRP? Against the backdrop of rapid business disruption, it is essential that organisations develop their human capital, so they can be future-ready and thrive amid economic shifts. HR is the enabler that will help organisations rise to meet this challenge. But for it to be successful, HR must itself be future-ready. It must focus on maximising human capital and contribute to business growth. IHRP aims to equip HR professionals and their organisations with progressive and forward-looking people practices to meet this challenge.

🌟 PBP 2025 Recap: Expert Sessions – Track A by Dr Serene Koh People-Centred AI: Behaviour, Bias, and Building Better Organisations What happens when we fuse the power of Artificial Intelligence with deep behavioural insight? We unlock smarter decisions, scalable innovation, and more human-centred systems. In this thought-provoking session, Dr Serene Koh (Strategic Advisor, Ngee Ann Polytechnic) explored how the intersection of AI × Behavioural Insights (BI) can help leaders design systems that are not only intelligent — but also intuitive, ethical, and effective. Dr Serene highlighted how behavioural science can tackle four of AI’s biggest challenges — Adopt, Align, Augment, and Adapt — by applying a human lens to every stage of AI development and deployment. From driving deeper adoption and reducing bias, to enhancing metacognition and aligning AI with real human values, she shared how HR leaders can shape AI that truly serves people, not replaces them. Her call to action was clear: “You shouldn’t AI without BI.” To build better organisations in an AI-driven era, HR must lead the way in designing technology that understands human behaviour — and builds trust, fairness, and inclusion into every algorithm. #IHRP #PeopleBehindPeople2025 #AIinHR #FutureOfWork #BehaviouralScience #HumanCentredAI #HRLeadership #WorkplaceInnovation #NgeeAnnPolytechnic

🌟 PBP 2025 Recap: Keynote Presentation by Rahul Chawla The Growth Equation – Now and the Future: Organisation × People × AI In a world where intelligence is increasingly distributed across humans, machines, and systems, growth now depends on convergence — not just performance. In his keynote, Rahul Chawla (Partner & Head of Talent Solutions, Southeast Asia, Aon) shared how organisations can unlock scalable and sustainable performance by aligning structure, capability, and technology. Drawing from Aon’s global insights and its own transformation journey, Rahul revealed how AI is reshaping leadership, workforce planning, and the very architecture of work — enabling organisations to reimagine how people, technology, and design come together for impact. He challenged HR and business leaders to rethink growth through three interconnected lenses: ➡️ Organisation – Build agile structures that enable speed, scalability, and clarity. ➡️ People – Redefine capability frameworks for an AI-enabled world, blending technical and human skills. ➡️ AI – Design intelligent systems that enhance decision-making, elevate human performance, and embed fairness. Ultimately, the growth equation of the future lies not in choosing between humans and machines, but in amplifying human potential through intelligent convergence. #IHRP #PeopleBehindPeople2025 #AmplifyingHumanPotential #FutureOfWork #AIinHR #HRLeadership #HumanResources #HRTalent #Aon

Energised and Ready for What's Ahead! 🚀 Yesterday's IHRP Townhall was a powerful reminder of why we are proud to be part of Team IHRP. Seeing our collective progress and the ambitious road ahead has left us revved and ready to finish the year strong. Head of HR Sally Lee kicked us off with an inspiring recap of our recognition as a Great Place to Work and our Silver Award for Excellence in Workplace Culture & Engagement at the 18th Singapore HR Awards. But rather than resting on these laurels, we are diving deeper into the data to push for even more meaningful improvements. This commitment to continuous excellence is what sets us apart. Head of Professional Practices & Certification Jocelyn Wun showcased how we are embracing AI to work smarter (even using AI-generated video to update us on her team’s milestones!) Swechha Mohapatra (IHRP-SP, SHRM-SCP, CIPD)’s updates on workplace transformation efforts—from job redesign initiatives to upcoming sector playbooks—demonstrate our commitment to building a vibrant HR community that thrives on growth, connections, and continuous learning. Sachrit Johri's insights on assessment evolution, Jocelyn Chua's updates on skills development, and Wendy C.'s progress on community building and CPD all reinforced that we are not just talking about transformation—we are living it. Fernn Tan energised us with a rundown of the People Behind People Forum 2025, while Cheryl L. gave us a glimpse of exciting digital projects on the horizon. Head of Finance Jingwei Yao's message particularly resonated and reminded us the importance of cultivating the right mental mindset to navigate change and bring our people along on the journey. Aslam Sardar, PBM then closed with an inspiring message that has us all revved up to make these final months of 2025 count.
