Supported by Digital Industry Singapore (DISG) and Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA), the CoE will strengthen our cybersecurity capabilities, nurture cyber talents and drive innovation in the cybersecurity sector. Today, we launched the first Victory-class Multi-Role Combat Vessel (MRCV) at our Benoi Yard. The first of its kind in the world, the MRCV will transform naval operations for the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN), serving as a “mothership” to deploy unmanned systems across the air, surface and underwater domains. MRCV Victory represents a clear demonstration of our engineering depth across multiple domains – from detailed design and shipbuilding to the implementation of critical cyber-secured communication networks and the complex integration of multiple weapons systems. Together with Siemens Energy, we have been awarded a second contract by Transcontinental Capital, a subsidiary of Seaboard Corporation, to deliver Estrella del Mar IV, a state-of-the-art barge-mounted power plant to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. The new power plant will be based on its predecessor, the Estrella del Mar III. When completed, it will enhance the Dominican Republic’s energy infrastructure with greater efficiency, flexibility and sustainability.
