WE JUST WON 1 MILLION DOLLARS!!! Stick 'Em is officially the Hult Prize Foundation Global Champion! Still feels unreal to even type that 🤯 Honestly, this whole journey has been wild. We didn’t start out thinking about prizes or stages. We literally had to incorporate the company just because a teacher wanted Stick ’Em so badly in her school that the system forced us to. And then there are moments I’ll never forget, like when a girl who came to our She Loves Tech event built her first robot with Stick ’Em, and later brought it to her SST (School of Science & Technology) direct entrance interview. That’s exactly why we do this. The $1M is huge, of course. But what excites me most is knowing we can now take this to sooooo many more classrooms, teachers, and kids around the world. From Singapore to the world 🌍 Let’s f**kin go!!!! #HultPrize #STEAM #Singapore

Stick 'Em has been a valuable part of Edventure's weekly enrichment programmme, in nurturing problem-solving🧶 and critical thinking skills💡. Our young Edventurers engaged in hands-on learning, innovatively utilizing chopsticks🥢 to construct robots🤖 and explore various projects🧰. This resulted in exciting discoveries💥! It's wonderful to see such dedication to STEM learning! Congratulations 🥂 to 🥇 Chong Ing Kai and 🥇 Huh Dam (Adam) !

The president gets hands-on with Stick 'Em! 🤩 Seeing our Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) president dive into our kit made from chopsticks and connectors was a moment I didn’t expect. But his reaction says a lot about how simple tools can spark real curiosity and creativity. Not just for students, but for anyone who loves to tinker. There’s something special about watching ideas go from “what if” to “look what I made!” in just a few minutes. It makes me wonder: maybe it’s not about having the fanciest tools, but about giving kids (and grown-ups) the freedom to explore and build, no matter where they start. 😉 #STEAMEducation #Creativity #Innovation #Schools #STEMKits

🎉 Celebrating Innovation and Recognition!   Congratulations to Huh Dam (Adam) and Chong Ing Kai, co-founders of Stick’Em, for being recognised in the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia 2025 list (Consumer & Enterprise Technology)! 🌟   The Forbes list honours young entrepreneurs and innovators under 30 years old across the Asia-Pacific who are shaping the future with bold ideas. Stick’Em, an affordable robotics kit, was one of the winning ideas from the Mapletree-SCCCI River Hongbao Hackathon (RHBHacks) 2021, proudly supported by Mapletree.   We’re heartened by how RHBHacks provided a launchpad for these young changemakers, and are even more inspired by how they’ve continued to grow and sustain their business.   Wishing Adam and Ing Kai all the best in their bright future ahead! 🚀 Learn more about Stick’Em by viewing this video on Professor Kok-Kwang Phoon’s (President, Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD)) LinkedIn page: https://bit.ly/4mnhPHC

President at Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD)

Innovation is part and parcel of life at SUTD. Our students are constantly exploring new ways to tackle everyday problems using design, AI and tech. I am proud to share the story of Huh Dam, or Adam as he prefers to be called. He is the co-founder of Stick’ Em (with Ing Kai), an affordable robotics kit that is making huge inroads in the local education scene.   Both of them were featured in the 10th edition of the 30 Under 30 Asia list (Consumer & Enterprise Technology) released 2 days ago (15 May 2025). Congratulations! I sat down with Adam a few months ago and had a go at using the kit to design, build and programme a robot. The first thing that struck me was the ingenious use of chopsticks as the main building block. The kit was easy to use and the entire process intuitive. The parts were simple and easy to grip – so much so that I thought it would be something my mum could use to stay active and engaged. I therefore urged Adam to explore developing an alternate kit suitable for the elderly!   Adam will be graduating from our Engineering Product Development (EPD) programme this month. I wish him the very best and thank him for joining our mission to make a better world by design.

Didn’t expect this. But here we are 😎 Building robots with chopsticks, running a startup from lecture halls, and now-Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia 2025, still feels surreal. Started Stick 'Em because we saw too many kids missing out on real hands-on learning. Now, 9,000+ students and 1,000+ teachers across 11 countries are building wild things with our chopstick kits, from the floating villages of Sabah to classrooms in Uganda. I’m still a full-time undergrad student, finished my final exams last week, and still getting called out for hijacking group projects to pitch Stick 'Em. But grateful for every teacher/mentor, friends, and crazy teammates who believed in our mission. To everyone hustling in Singapore and across Asia: keep building real shit, keep dreaming, and don’t let anyone tell you your idea is “too weird.” Sometimes, that’s exactly what the world needs. #Forbes30Under30 #StickEm #STEAM #Singapore #Asia #StartupLife
