🔹Jio leads with 477.5M subscribers (41% share) with whopping VLR: 97.7%.
🔹Airtel holds 391.5M subs (33.6%), strong in urban and premium circles best-in-class VLR: 99.3%..
🔹VI continues to lose share with 203.9M subs (17.5%). Lost 3.5 Lacs subscribers in Jul’25.
🔹BSNL at 90.6M subs (7.8%), showing steady but small-scale growth, added 2 lacs numbers in Jul’25 month.
📌 Regional Highlights
🔁Airtel strongholds in 8 circles:
Leads in AP & Telangana, Assam, Himachal, J&K, Karnataka, North East, Panjab and Tamilnadu driven by higher VLR (>95%) and premium urban base.
🔁Jio dominance in 13 circles:
Delhi, Mumbai, Gujarat, West Bengal, Orisa, Kolkata, Bihar, MP & Chhattisgarh, Haryana, UP East, UP West, Maharashtra remain Jio’s fortress with market share >30% and highest net adds (+3.3L in Gujarat, +1.4L in MP, +1.5L in WB).
🔁Vodafone Idea pockets:
Holds strong footprints in Kerala and Mumbai, but showing subscriber erosion elsewhere.

Gains in Haryana, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, adding ~2 Lacs subs nationally in July – but still weak in VLR (61.8%).
