Most businesses in Singapore are digital. But only 15% are actually growing fast. HubSpot’s latest report just dropped and I had the privilege of being a part of it. 🚨 TL;DR: Digital adoption is high, but growth remains uneven. Why? Because integration, agility, and execution are the missing pieces. Here are 5 key insights from “The Singapore State of Business Growth in 2025”: 🔹 Disconnected systems = slower growth Tools don’t talk to each other. Teams don’t align. Businesses with fully integrated systems are 10x more likely to report strong growth. 🔹 AI isn’t delivering the ROI you expected Only 16% of businesses have advanced AI. The ones that do? They’re seeing faster ROI — because their data is connected. 🔹 Small businesses are stuck in survival mode 42% are focusing on marketing. But without robust systems, it’s like building a house on sand. 🔹 Leadership inertia is a hidden blocker 33% of digitalised businesses say leadership hesitancy is slowing them down. Fast decisions > Fancy tools. 🔹 Uncertainty isn’t the enemy — inaction is 74% of businesses are cautious. But those who double down on what works are the ones pulling ahead. Exciting day at IHRP’s People Behind People Forum: “Amplifying Human Potential”! Thrilled to be here with the HR community — catching up with familiar faces, exchanging ideas, and learning about the latest initiatives shaping the future of work. The launch of the 2025 Singapore Opportunity Index (SOI) was especially insightful — a data-driven analysis of how talent strategies drive competitiveness across nearly one million workers and 1,500 firms. Unlike traditional surveys, it measures real outcomes like pay, advancement, and retention — offering a powerful, evidence-based view of opportunity in Singapore.
