In a recent leadership dialogue with our Dell Technologies Client Solutions Group leaders across Asia Pacific, Japan, and China, I was reminded that in a region as diverse and fast-moving as APJC, leadership requires both clarity of vision and agility in execution. ❗Local Relevance Matters APJC makes up nearly 60% of the global population and 40% of GDP. Every country operates at a different pace, with unique customer expectations. Success here depends on local insights, fast execution, and continuous innovation. ❗Technology Trends to Watch We discussed three major shifts: 🔸 Agentic AI – Intelligence is moving to the edge. On-device AI, paired with cloud agents, enables real-time, contextual decisions. Our PC and edge portfolio is built for this. 🔸 Always-On Connectivity – Reliable, low-latency connectivity is essential. We’re building seamless, secure, and consistent client experiences across environments. 🔸 Silicon Disruption – The move to AI-first architectures is underway. We're leveraging SoCs, NPUs, and in-memory compute to deliver better performance and efficiency. ❗Purpose in Action Beyond the meeting room, we took time to give back. Our team assembled bicycles and raised funds for local children who need them to get to school. A simple tool like a bicycle can transform a child’s life. In the same way, the right technology such as AI-powered devices in a modern workplace can empower people to do more, go further, and thrive. To serve our customers better, we need to understand the communities we operate in. This is core to Dell’s mission: to create technologies that drive human progress. Cloud Journey continues…   Moving services to the cloud has many benefits – Scalability, Flexibility, Agility, Availability, Anytime anywhere access, security - but rarely it should be cost, though that is often cited as a reason. It’s not usually the initial sticker shock that gets people about cloud costs, but the gradual month on month increase in bill shock.
