The funds will fuel expansion into Southeast Asia and enhance their tech stack with AI. DPDzero, a fintech startup has raised $7 million in a funding round led by GMO VenturePartners,Inc., a Japan-based, fintech-focused venture capital firm. The round also saw participation from existing investor Blume Ventures, which doubled its investment in this Series A round, along with new investor SMBC Asia Rising Fund. The Bengaluru-based company will use the new funds to hire its own team of field collection agents.
