Add or reset verification phone numbers in Apple Business Manager
Any users with a role of Administrator or any Manager role all require a six-digit verification code along with their Managed Apple Account password to sign into the Apple Business Manager web portal. This verification code, which is sent to a phone number associated with the user account, enhances the security of Apple Business Manager.
When to add a verification phone number
For users having either an Administrator role or any Manager role (for example, Content Manager), you may want to add more than one verification phone number.
Note: Each phone number receives a code that needs to be entered to verify that specific number. Have all the phones nearby so the codes can be entered.
When to reset a verification phone number
If the user changes phone numbers, reset the user account to ask for a new phone number. Accounts that have identical privileges or lesser privileges can be reset only by you.
