Sort your books in Books on Mac
In Books, there are several ways to sort the books in your library.
In the Books app
on your Mac, click Library in the toolbar.At the top of your library, click All Books, Collections, Authors, or Categories.
If you click List, you can sort books by clicking a column heading. Control-click a column heading to see other columns you can choose to display and sort by.
At the top right of the view, click Sort By, then choose an option.
Most Recent: Sort books with ones you’ve read recently at the top.
Title: Sort books alphabetically by title from A to Z.
Sort Manually: Drag books around in the view to sort them in any order you want.
You can choose to show or hide the title and author when you sort.
You can also show or hide books you purchased using your Apple ID (except hidden books). Books that you haven’t downloaded on your Mac appear with an iCloud status icon
