Mumbai: Nigerian man killed by flatmates over dispute; attacked with glass bottle

A 32-year-old Nigerian man, Lucky Uijeh, was murdered in Nalasopara East on Saturday night, allegedly by his Nigerian friends following an old dispute. The Tulinj police have registered a murder case against the three accused, who resided in the same building as the deceased. Two suspects, Ayoola Barthlome and Oghene Igere, have been arrested, while Odia Peculiar remains at large.

VASAI: A 32-year-old Nigerian was murdered on Saturday night in Pragati nagar, Nalasopara East, allegedly by his own countrymen who were also said to be his friends. The Tulinj cops have registered an offence under sections of murder (crime of murder by a mob) against the three accused. These accused are none other then the friends of the deceased and also are nigerian nationals. Cops have confirmed that the murder appears to be a fallout of an old dispute and they are investigating further to undertsand what transpired intho this deadly fight. The accused and the deceased all stayed in the same building in Pragati nagar. The trio was discussing something and didn't like the interruption of the deceased, as per the FIR, post which they attacked the deceased and then hit him with a glass bottle.

The deceased, identified as Lucky Uijeh, succumbed to the injuires before being admitted to the local hospital. The cops have arrested two of the three accused, Ayoola Barthlome and Oghene Igere while the third accused Odia Peculiar is said to be on the run.
