KISS OF LIFE’s management agency issues notice: Announces legal action against sexual harassment posts

On September 27, KISS OF LIFE’s management agency took to their social media accounts and announced that they are well aware of the kind of malicious content that is being posted online about the girl group. They revealed that the ongoing matter regarding malicious comments, sexual harassment, as well as the use of deepfake artificial intelligence technology on the girls has been prevalent for quite some time now.They shared that, “We are continuously monitoring and collecting evidence related to the above issues and are informing you that legal action has been taken regarding sexual harassment posts targeting member NATTY.”They also provided more details about the matter at hand, stating that “In May of this year, we filed an official complaint against an individual who posted content of sexual harassment about our artist. Subsequently, the prosecution recognized the suspect's violation of the Information and Communications Network Act (distribution of obscene material) and issued a summary indictment.”They ended their note by expressing gratitude to fans who have been meticulously collecting proof and evidence of similar activities and have been timely reporting them to the management agency as well. They then shared that they will be doing everything in their power in order to ensure that their artists are well protected against issues such as this. The group has been a target of such malicious content and activities for quite some time now. Recently, an alleged video of Julie hanging out with two male idols has been leaked online. The credibility of the video has still not been verified; however, fans have been rallying against the person and citing that if this is true, then this is a major breach of privacy that should not have been possible.
