Tyrese Haliburton of the Indiana Pacers recently talked with Steph McMahon at Wrestlepalooza about his NBA career, his WWE fandom, and his aspirations to compete. He also talked candidly about the connection between his fiancée and his mother during the same interview. They seem to have a close public bond. However, Haliburton disclosed that the beginning of this now stable relationship was a little difficult. Indiana Pacers’ star Tyrese Haliburton has recently made multiple appearances to talk about WWE. Speaking with Stephanie McMahon on her What’s Your Story? podcast, Haliburton also talked about the NBA and his family members. He said:“You know how many times I’ve tried to convince your husband to let me go through a table or do something? He’s like ‘The NBA would never let us.'”Then, further talking about his mother and his fiance’s Jade’s relationship, he admitted: “I think at first there was a little like there always is for, I'm my mom's baby… Let me go for a little bit. And I'm not the greatest communicator. So when my mom wants to know everything that's going on and when I don't tell her, then it was like it was Jade's fault that I wasn't telling her and so there was a little, for a little bit…”He then clarified that the issues mostly started because of his communication style. He laughed and went on: “And she never, like I said I was a spoiled child and I also was, my brothers will say I was the golden child. So I never get, I rarely get yelled at. And so my mom was like, who do I put the blame on? It would be Jade..”Haliburton, who mockingly referred to himself as the "golden child" who was rarely scolded, claimed that his mother would seek for someone to blame. Then he added: “When I got traded here to Indiana and I had to leave the next day to get here and my mom and Jade had to put together how are we gonna sell all the furniture, how are we gonna get rid of everything and get the dogs here and coordinate everything like that. They have been thick as thieves ever since…”A difficult dynamic resulted from this early conflict. It then took a momentous occasion to finally unite his mother and his partner.Tyrese Haliburton revealed on July 28 that he proposed to his college sweetheart, Jade Jones, on the Iowa State University basketball court where they met. Alongside images of the proposal, Haliburton wrote a message on Instagram:"The place where our story started, and where our next chapter begins.” Later, Jones gave her followers a peek into what is in store for her marriage. On her Instagram Stories, she posted a picture of herself dressed in a white wedding gown. She and the basketball players were also seen holding hands.They started dating six years ago. The Pacers player has been spotted hanging out with her in public on a regular basis since the proposal. In recent days, her images on TikTok and Instagram have also generated wedding rumors. In a recent Instagram Story, she announced an update while dressed in white. She was seen smiling in the picture. Nevertheless, the couple haven’t revealed the wedding date as of yet.
