Tyreek Hill’s attorney has come out swinging against new domestic violence claims filed by his estranged wife Keeta Vaccaro, framing the allegations as a calculated attempt to smear the Dolphins star and pressure him into paying a massive settlement. What started as a simple separation petition has now escalated into a high-profile courtroom battle that could overshadow Hill’s NFL season.

Attorney labels allegations “unsubstantiated” smear against Dolphins star

In a statement to USA TODAY Sports, Hill’s attorney Julius Collins denied every accusation, insisting that Vaccaro’s team had simply amended the original petition to stir headlines. “The new allegations that Ms. Vaccaro and her counsel have decided to allege are all unsubstantiated, untrue and an attempt to generate bad media coverage for Mr. Hill and therefore extort a large settlement offer from Mr. Hill, of which we believe Ms. Vaccaro is not entitled in this 17 month (sic) marriage,” Collins said. The filing, which accuses Hill of violent behavior on multiple occasions, marks the latest twist in a short marriage that unraveled quickly.

Hill's attorney highlights $1.6 million financial dispute

Hill’s attorneys argued the dispute is largely about money. They revealed he had already provided Vaccaro with $500,000 “to do as she wished and needed” since the two share a child, plus $100,000 toward a vehicle purchase.
Vaccaro, however, is requesting $1,100,857.51 in her latest filing.Collins’ team highlighted the excessive nature of the claim, writing: “These new allegations are further proof that Ms. Vaccaro and/or her counsel are set on partaking in a smear campaign in hopes that Mr. Hill will settle and give she and her counsel an unreasonable and unwarranted amount of money. Mr. Hill will not be moved by this and awaits his day in Court to present his evidence.”

Court date puts Dolphins Star under intense spotlight

A Zoom hearing is scheduled for Monday, September 15, just one day after the Dolphins host the New England Patriots in Week 2. The timing ensures that Hill’s personal turmoil will linger over both his performance and Miami’s early-season momentum. For one of the NFL’s most electrifying talents, this legal showdown now threatens to eclipse his on-field achievements. What began as a private separation has morphed into a tense clash over credibility, money, and public image — a fight that could leave lasting repercussions on Hill’s career and reputation. Also read: NFL stadiums transform into arenas of romance as fans blend football passion with wedding celebrations
