Airtel is facing a service outage. Thousands of Airtel subscribers have reported service disruptions on Monday afternoon, with many unable to make phone calls or access mobile internet. According to outage tracker Downdetector, reports of problems started at around 3:30pm, with users complaining about both voice and data services being unavailable. At the time of writing, around 3,600 people were impacted by the outage.

Airtel down: Details

As per Downdetector, about 71% users reported facing issues with calls, while a 15% complained about facing internet connectivity. The remaining 14% complained about no signal problem on their Airtel numbers.However, the exact regions/circles impacted by the downtime is not yet clear yet. There is no official confirmation from the telecom company.


Airtel outage: Users shares experience on X

As the outage continues, many took to microblogging site X to raise the issue. “Is Airtel Network down in Delhi? Since 1 hour, I am facing calling issue, incoming and outgoing both,” wrote one user.
“@Airtel_Presence @airtelindia services are completely down. Unable to make or receive calls and even messages are not working. This is causing serious inconvenience. Please resolve the network outage immediately and confirm ETA for restoration,” said another. “Is Airtel Service down in Delhi? I am facing the issue since last 1 hour. On all my airtel numbers in the family,” wrote a third.Airtel has not yet released any official statement explaining the reason for the outage.
