Takeoff UI Community Day 🚀 Following a long and dedicated development journey, our frontend library, Takeoff UI, has become a shared frontend language actively used by developers across many of our projects. We gathered with the teammates who helped grow the development process for our first Takeoff UI Community Day. In this meetup, we listened to real-world usage insights, addressed the needs and challenges faced during development, and discussed the next steps for Takeoff UI together. Built around sharing and collaboration, this event further strengthened the community around our shared product. The feedback received and the ideas that emerged have been a major source of inspiration as we take Takeoff UI to the next level. Thank you to all our teammates who contributed, shared their experiences, and are part of this community. We continue to build and develop together. ✨

If a gate changed or a flight was delayed, the pass remained silent until the user manually refreshed it or checked a physical screen.   We outline the architectural revolution that changes this static display into an intelligent, real-time companion:   Moving beyond static fields: How Apple’s new semantic data structure allows iOS to understand the meaning of pass data, enabling proactive system updates without user interaction. Real-time integration: Leveraging Live Activities and the Dynamic Island to display flight countdowns, gate assignments, and terminal changes directly on the Lock Screen.
