Ryan Crane, Head of Customer Experience, has been with AAH for over 8 years. Hear from Ryan as he discusses a typical day in his role, what he loves about his job, and how he helps to support customers. “I work really closely with our digital and marketing team, and also with our colleagues in operations to try and make sure that we’re making life as easy as possible for our customers. We take care of each of our customers, and every person's needs are different so we make sure that we’re in tune with those needs, and we try and facilitate and help them in any way that we can.” “I think the best part of my job is the interactions with people, whether that's colleagues or customers. Just having those conversations with someone where you get a little bit of feedback or a little bit of gold dust, which you can then pull away and turn that into a solution. Last year, we published our AAH Carbon Reduction Plan, and we’ve made significant steps towards reaching our goals. Our progress includes: - Saving over 1 million miles and over 400 tonnes of CO2 through our customer delivery optimisation programme. - Optimising our HGV network and reduced our mileage by over 5%, saving over 260 tonnes of CO2. - Introducing 20 electric pharma vans to our fleet, with each vehicle reducing emissions by 8.5 tonnes of CO2 per year.
