World Mental Health Day 2025 - Friday 10th October 2025 Friday morning at ActiveQuote we invited staff to make cuppa and take some time out to have a chat. Cheyenne Morris is our complaints manager but also one of our Mental Health First Aiders who was on hand to chat to those who wanted or were willing. While we'd love to share some pictures, they were so busy chatting that no pictures were taken. I mean nothing brings people together like a cuppa and a biscuit, right?! Our staff's mental health is an important part of our well-being programme, and this event provided us with the opportunity to highlight the support available should any of our staff need it. So, let's all remember to check-in with those around us once in a while and take the time to talk and look after our mental health. Maggie's Bake & Brew 2025 complete! Wednesday 1st October was officially 'Maggie's Bake & Brew' day, with bake sales being held up and down the country, and after being approached by Deborah Barber Dip CII, we agreed to join forces and hold our own, with Tracy Carwardine taking the lead for ActiveQuote. After calling in favours from family members and neighbours, we can confirm that the bake sale itself was a great success! With the support of both ActiveQuote and Howden staff, we managed to raise over £125 on the day, which will be matched by Howden and donated to Maggie's Centres who provide invaluable support to those with cancer and their families.  A huge thank you to all involved 👏 🧁 #activequote #howden #bakeandbrew #maggies #bakesale #support #charity #givingback #fightingcancer

With Velindre Cancer Charity being ActiveQuote's charity partner for 2025, supporting their recent pyjama appeal was a no-brainer. Using some of the money raised through charity events such as Toastie Tuesday and a staff raffle, Tracy Carwardine was able to pick up 19 sets of pyjamas and deliver them to Velindre this morning, where Lucesca Walters was on hand to accept them. A small but meaningful gesture that will go a long way, and one we are proud to support.
