Arondite welcomes the UK Department for Science, Innovation and Technology’s announcement today of the AI Opportunities Action Plan. For the UK to embrace the wave of change driven by AI it must rapidly invest in the foundations needed: in physical infrastructure like data centres, in software infrastructure to manage and deploy AI at scale, and in skills. For the UK Ministry of Defence, there must also be a long-term strategic approach to working with UK industry to maintain assured access to new, battle-winning AI capabilities. This plan goes a long way towards addressing these issues. The challenge now is on delivery. At Arondite we will continue to work with the UK Government to make this ambitious plan a reality.
