While bladder cancer is the ninth most common cancer in the world, awareness remains low. May is Bladder Cancer Awareness Month and we’re proud to support the World Bladder Cancer Patient Coalition (WBCPC) in raising awareness and encouraging early detection. This year’s theme underscores the importance of recognising the early signs of bladder cancer, as the disease has an overall 78% 5-year relative survival rate. Alex Filicevas, Executive Director of the WBCPC, shares why greater awareness of symptoms can help patients receive an earlier diagnosis. #BladderCancerMonth25

'For investors and media' We have announced the successful completion of our acquisition of EsoBiotec, who are pioneering in vivo cell therapies. This acquisition is another step forward in our ambition to harness the full potential of cell therapy. EsoBiotec’s in vivo cell therapy platform has the potential to transform cell therapy. It aims to enable the administration of therapies in minutes through a simple IV injection—without the need for immune cell depletion. This innovative approach has the potential to streamline processes and reduce manufacturing timelines, as well as increase accessibility for patients. #AstraZenecaBusinessNews #Investors #Media
