🌍 Climate change could drive US$1.5 trillion in economic losses by 2050, with the world's most disadvantaged regions bearing the brunt. Yet less than 5% of global #adaptation #finance is currently directed towards health. The recent report by the World Economic Forum, produced in collaboration with Boston Consulting Group (BCG), sheds light on how we can change this. 📖 ‘Building Economic Resilience to the Health Impacts of Climate Change’ explores solutions across food and agriculture, the built environment, healthcare, and insurance to protect workers and communities more broadly. “Investment in resilience is not just risk management; it’s a catalyst for innovation, cost savings, and sustainable growth,“ comments BwB CEO, Rupesh Madlani. 💬 Which sector – health, agriculture, or infrastructure – do you think is most critical for building resilience to climate impacts? As part of its involvement in the GreetGeo Project, BwB recently had the opportunity to tour several plants in Larderello. Insights gained during the visit are strengthening BwB’s work to demonstrate to investors that geothermal is a reliable, viable, and scalable solution when built on the right foundations. Crucial building blocks include: ✔️ A stable and supportive regulatory environment ✔️ Operators with experience ✔️ Reliable offtakers 🚀 BwB is supporting geothermal investments in regions with strong potential around the world, helping to mobilise the capital needed for climate-aligned, resilient energy systems. A big thank you to Enel Green Power and CoSviG Scrl, especially Loredana Torsello, for hosting us in Larderello. 💬 Where do you see the greatest untapped potential for geothermal energy?
