Today the UK Government has announced the 14 NHS Trusts that they will focus on within the National Investigation into Maternity Services… The care must be improved and we need practical and effective recommendations that are followed in order to make this change happen. It’s time to truly listen to expectant parents, valuing their experiences and ensuring that recommendations and policies are not only implemented but upheld. Ensuring that all voices are heard and represented throughout. Placing those pregnant, expectant parents, mum and dads at the heart of maternity services is paramount. Expectant parents deserve to feel safe, cared for and nurtured. So we can see more happier and healthier mums, dads and babies Hopefully within the Trusts involved, those currently pregnant, expectant parents and staff are fully supported throughout this process. And those who have already contributed to the numerous previous enquiries are being supported too. Building trust and ensuring all are listened to is a must! #improvingmaternityservices #safematernitycare #NHSmaternitycare

What struck me wasn’t just the product, although it's extraordinary in its potential to save lives and offer reassurance to mothers — it was the why behind it. Rachael spoke of attending to be in the room with inspirational and powerful women in business. And she found herself not just seen, but heard. Fast forward to the Global Woman Summit in London, where we were joined by investors including Mirela Sula, Janet C. Salazar, Helen Chorley, Lata Setty, Katrina Victoria Gumaya, and others who are committed to funding female-led innovation with purpose. So I’m bringing the two worlds together here. 🔗 Listen to Rachael’s video below. Hear her passion. 🤝 And if you’re one of the incredible investors I met at the Summit, perhaps this is your moment to say yes to something that truly matters. Because connection is only powerful when it leads to change. #GlobalWomanClub #WomenInInnovation #ImpactInvesting #Bitbaby #PregnancySupport #CroneWisdomInAction #WomenSupportingWomen #GWSummit #PurposeDrivenBusiness

  • Much needed national investigation to ensure no parent or baby is ever let down again!

Today our UK Government announces a national investigation into maternity and neonatal services! A long overdue clear plan to ensure “no parent or baby is ever let down again”. A national set of actions to improve care across every NHS maternity service. Fighting inequalities by introducing an anti-discrimination programme to remove the disparities in care for Black, Asian and underserved communities. I am hopeful that Government targets to reduce stillbirths, baby deaths and babies born too soon will be integral to the investigation so we can see more preventative measures put in place. With our bitbaby device we’re striving to see more expectant parents enjoying their pregnancy and improving outcomes. #NHS #maternityservices #neonatalservices #midwifery #nationalinvestigation https://lnkd.in/ez2PxquD

Such a great event and had the privilege to be apart of The Design in Innovation Summit 2025 thanks to hosts Charlotte Corke Corke and Jonathan Butters of Butters Innovation. It was great to be able to share my experience and how design is an integral part of bitbaby development from the perspective of a founder. The talks by Jen Fenner, Jonny Marchbank and Matt Langford were so informative. My take home was great design means putting the needs, wishes and behaviours of people at the heart of the innovation process. It was so lovely to meet and talk to so many people, passionate and inspired by the design community. Deborah Dawton Boleslaw Charles W. Oshadhi Samarasinghe it was great to meet you all And thanks to Fatima Farah for all your support in preparation and on the day ⭐️ #LCRInnovation #LCRInnovationInvestmentFortnight2025 #femalefoundersraise #healthtech

  • This dad, Ben Moorhouse of The Kallipateira Moorhouse Foundation is such an inspiration and he just needs a little bit more help to reach his target. He’s raising funds to support more research into preventing stillbirths. If there’s anything you can do to help, please donate or share this post. #stillbirthresearch #babyloss #charity

My upset is not about fundraising. It is far more than this right now. I'm currently going through a very upsetting and difficult situation but I am still doing what I need to do for July. As of today I am £410 short of the £7,000 point of my full target. If anyone can please help me achieve this today it would be massive. All funds from both extreme challenges will support research to help save babies' lives. To support, please donate via the link below. Thank you for your support https://lnkd.in/erBq5P56

Slowly but surely we’re starting to see change and the UK Government making it so that all parents can apply no matter when they lost their baby. I sincerely hope that our government remains committed to ensuring bereaved parents are better supported, and that the impact and importance of their loss is recognised. This is a reflection on just how much these babies lives matter and how acknowledgement of this is so important for the parents of these babies. Care is improving for parents who experience baby loss…but can we be doing more to try to prevent this? At bitbaby we’re striving to help expectant parents feel supported, informed and improve the wellbeing and outcomes for mums and babies. #babylossprevention #stillbirthprevention #hopefulfutures #healthforall
