With the #MCAAwards 2025 ceremony just one week away, we're proud to be a finalist with our expert #managementconsultant Don G in the Team Leader of the Year category. It's no surprise given the collaborative ‘One Team’ approach he fosters, which has been critically important to facilitate trust between his team and the client. This way he guarantees mutual success through open communication and knowledge transfer (read more in the comments). Our fingers are crossed for you, Don! 🤞🏆

Whether your challenge involves monitoring fixed or #floatingoffshorewind structures, evaluating support vessels suited to challenging site conditions, understanding coastal impacts or planning complex offshore operations, we have the track record. Trusted worldwide by leading energy developers and operators, like bp and Ørsted, and have decades of experience of solving challenges in harsh waters like the North Sea and the Gulf of Mexico. Meet our experts including Andrew Aldrich and Phil Thompson on stand D60 at #FloatingWind25, co-hosted by RenewableUK and @ScotRenew, 12-13 November, where they can show you how we can ensure the integrity, efficiency and safety of your offshore wind assets. In the meantime, find out more about our offshore wind services in the comments below.

As the offshore wind sector evolves globally, safe and efficient marine access is critical. At Marine Renewables Canada 2025, Lee Grace will present “Optimized Design of Crew Transfer Vessels for Wind Farm Operations.” Lee will share how early-stage design integration — from hull form optimization to motion mitigation — helps operators improve crew safety, reduce costs, and ensure long-term operational readiness in the floating wind sector. Discover how BMT’s vessel design expertise supports the transition to clean, sustainable offshore energy! Imagine, for a moment, you're leading a yacht race. You're exhilarated, the wind is in your sails, and you can see the finish line. Then, a competitor suddenly gains on you. You tack to avoid a collision, but in doing so, you lose speed, giving them the advantage. As you recover, the wind changes, and the tide turns, pushing the entire fleet toward a dangerous sandbank. Now, it's not just about winning; it's about survival. A yacht race is as a good metaphor for how we think about complex organisational change. In addition to our maritime heritage, we also know a great deal about large organisations and the challenges of creating and sustaining change within them. We have deep experience leading and supporting business transformation and complex programme delivery across government, public sector agencies and industry including the Department for Work & Pensions, Met Police and Milford Haven Port Authority, particularly in digitally enabled service improvement programmes. These experiences, amongst others, have informed the development of the BMT strategy canvas for complex change. Our Strategy Canvas acts as a navigational chart, providing a complete view of the transformation. It is a robust tool designed to bring clarity to the most complex transformations. Read more about the BMT Strategy Canvas for #complexchange in Dr Tim Curtis's latest paper (link in the comments).
