Celebrating the graduation of our WOSTEP 3000 hr class; who recorded the highest final exam average since the School opened in 2006 - 85%. We’re now into a brand new and updated two year course, the WOSTEP Watchmaker Program, what a way to see out a course that’s been with us since the beginning! We also celebrate our first ever WOSTEP Service Watchmaker graduates, with a final exam average of 89%, including SWATCH employee Eddie with 95%, this is the second highest score ever for the one-year program at our school! A well deserved outcome for the hard work of our students and teaching team. 16 new students joined us in January, eight for the customer service watchmaker course as part of their CPD and eight totally new to watchmaking for the two-year watchmaker course. Everyone starts at the same point - manual dexterity. Learning basic workshop skills; sawing, filing, drilling, reading technical drawings, measuring, surface finishes and connection techniques, in preparation for the first intermediate exam in February.

Congratulations to both classes for passing their final exams. Special mention to Swatch employee Eddie for achieving the second highest ever mark for the one-year programme, and to the 3000-hr students for achieving the highest class average since we opened the doors in 2006. Special mention to their teachers James, Tom & George for these fantastic results and thank you to our supporters, without whom none of this would be possible. We look forward to welcoming 16 new students in January.

How time flies. Our 3000-hour class unpacking their tool kits in January 2022 and now ready for three days of final exams starting on Wednesday. Then off to start their careers with Kennedy, Lister Horsfall, Harrods, British School of Watchmaking, Jamieson & Carry and Fraser Hart. Good luck everyone.
