After being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2019, dance teacher Natalie Hall found strength through movement and community. During her treatment, she realised how powerful dance could be both physically and emotionally. What started as her own form of therapy has since become Fireflies Fitness - a supportive space where people living with cancer can move, share and shine together. Natalie’s story is part of Bupa’s global Health Stories movement - inspiring open conversations about health, and reminding us that support often begins with sharing 💙 Watch Natalie's full film here. https://lnkd.in/egeuDcEr #LetsTalkHealth #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth

A target with five topics. One throw decides the conversation. As part of our global Health Stories movement, players for the Black Ferns – New Zealand national women’s rugby team – Amy du Plessis, Maiakawanakaulani Roos and Theresa Setefano – take on the Health Throwdown. Mind. Body. Recovery. Performance. Mystery. Each hit sparks an honest conversation about wellbeing, managing pressure and what good health looks like. Let’s talk about health. #LetsTalkHealth #BlackFerns #Bupa

On the field, Sir John Kirwan was a rugby legend – but off it, the world had no idea he was struggling with depression. As part of Bupa’s Health Stories movement, the former All Blacks star reflects on how opening up about mental health changed his life, and why vulnerability can be the greatest strength of all. Meet Jody, she recently took Bupa’s Medication Check and it helped her take control of her health. With a family history of breast cancer, she’s been under regular care of her doctor and has previously been recommended Tamoxifen as a preventative drug. But knowing the potential side effects, she hesitated. After taking Bupa’s Medication Check, it revealed that Tamoxifen wouldn’t be effective for her, a powerful insight that now allows her to explore better options. Personalised testing that can make a difference. Find out more: https://bit.ly/42Spy8v #BupaHealthDNA

In April 2023, Mary-Ellen experienced a period of intense depression. Hearing other people’s stories helped her realise she wasn’t alone. Speaking openly about her experience has become a way to support herself and others. Mary-Ellen’s story reminds us that depression is a real physical and mental illness – and the more we talk about it, the more we can help each other 💙 #LetsTalkHealth
