Check4Cancer
Hospitals and Health Care
Trusted provider of cancer detection & genetic services for self-funding patients, insurers & corporate customers.
About us
We work with employers, their advisers and their insurers to help employees become the first line of defence against the rising incidence of the most common cancers. Our awareness and early detection services are both attractive employee benefits and valuable healthcare risk management tools. They can be funded in a number of cost effective ways by the employer or the employee, reflecting the objectives and budget of both. The emotional and financial costs of cancer are significant and given that there is so much discussion around the increasing costs of treating cancer, it is an ideal time to re-visit what is currently available in the health prevention sector. Employers who provide their employees access to cancer screening services do so in the knowledge that they are supporting the national strategy on cancer – Improving Outcomes. A number of exciting and innovative tests are now becoming available in health promotion and disease prevention due to new research and improvements in biomedical technology. Check4Cancer is at the forefront of these developments which will augment and enhance the choice of healthcare benefits available to employers and their employees.

This October, we’re sharing practical tips to help employers support their people throughout Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Here's our 'Tip number 2! 💗 Encourage your employees to prioritise their health by making it easy to attend screenings and check-ups. Offer flexible time off for mammograms (and other health appointments). Signpost workplace benefits that include private screenings or wellbeing allowances. Early detection saves lives, but people need to feel they have the time and are able to prioritise appointments. Creating that space shows your employees that your organisation cares about its people and their long-term wellbeing. #EmployeeWellbeing #WorkplaceHealth #HR #CorporateWellbeing

A big thank you to ABHI for hosting an excellent trade mission to Washington DC and Baltimore. The meetings with leading healthcare providers, regulators, and legal experts provided valuable insights into how our evidence-based cancer detection pathways and AI-driven skin cancer model could support US healthcare priorities. We look forward to continuing discussions and building strong partnerships to advance early cancer detection on both sides of the Atlantic 🙌
Just returned from the ABHI trade mission to Washington DC and Baltimore to explore how Check4Cancer's early cancer detection services could be positioned in the US healthcare landscape. Highlights included visits to the British Embassy Washington, Johns Hopkins Hospital, the University of Maryland Medical System and Adventist HealthCare in Washington. It was great to learn from Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati about the legal and regulatory frameworks within which we would operate, and hear from William Sheahan at Medstar about how integrated care pathways perform in the US. We received excellent feedback on our patient-centres diagnostic cancer pathways, as well as our new skin cancer AI model, and we and forward to progressing these discussions in the coming months.
